Replicator v2.4.3

Replicator is a tool designed to synchronize data between different systems. It is particularly useful for maintaining consistency across multiple databases. It is also used for backup and recovery of MapMate databases, and installing patches.

The latest version is included with the MapMate v2.4.0e Installation Package; however, it can be downloaded as a standalone file from here.

It is still possible to send and get sync files, including your MapMate backup file, from the MapMate Web Server; however, it is recommended to use the latest version of Replicator for optimal performance and security, and it may be necessary to configure your Firewall software and/or Router with new rules.

Move the downloaded file to the MapMate program directory at C:\Program Files (x86)\MapMate and overwrite the existing file.

If the Replicator cannot connect to the MapMate Web Server, you may need to configure your Firewall software and/or Router Port Forwarding with a new rule to allow connections to the MapMate Web Server. Please consult your Firewall and Router User Guides for instructions.

When creating a new rule, you may be asked to locate the file you have just downloaded and moved to C:\Program Files (x86)\MapMate. The default settings of allowing everything is recommended.

If your Firewall requires explicit settings, configure it as follows:

If problems persist, you will need to add a Port Forwarding rule to your Router. Typically, you will need to add the IP address of your computer, plus the Protocol, Direction, and Port as per your Firewall rule.

Right-click the Windows Start button, select Terminal (or Command Prompt), run ipconfig, then look for your Wireless or Ethernet adapter. The IP address will be listed as IPv4 Address.
