Update Taxon Stage

Please read the whole page before continuing.

These MapMate patches update the TaxonStage table that resides in the User database.

Only run these patches if you are absolutely sure you wish to update the TaxonStage table.

You MUST ABSOLUTELY take a system backup via the replicator, or at the very least make a copy of your "User" file in your My MapMate\Data\User folder before running these patches. If you choose to copy the User file to "User - Copy", it will be easy to revert it to "User" if required.


Released patches

All patches have been tested on a live system.

Emergence Holes Patch. This patch updates the TaxonStage table, and makes the following change:
  • Changes the "Mature" field from "Yes" to "No". The change can be confirmed by clicking Analysis, Browse tables, Browse Taxon Stage.

Note: All patches must be renamed with the same filename. If you download mutiple patches, you can only rename and apply one patch at a time.

Depending on how your Windows File Explorer is configured, you may or may not see the .SQZ filename extension.
